The West 10th Residence

Designed for a young family of five, this townhouse renovation and furnishings project is about making a home work harder for the people who live in it.

The existing layout no longer suited the family’s stage of life, so the renovation focused on creating spaces that support the rhythms of everyday living — from the morning rush to weekends at home. Storage was integrated wherever possible, a dedicated mudroom was designed to accommodate everything from little jackets and backpacks to larger outdoor gear, and a breakfast nook positioned within sight of the kitchen creates an easy place for the family to gather.

Personal spaces throughout the home give everyone a place of their own, while thoughtful furnishings and finishes bring warmth and cohesion to the interiors.

The result is a home designed not just to look beautiful, but to grow alongside the family — functional, comfortable and ready for the beautifully messy years ahead.
